Absolutely! We have an online store where you can order your pet’s food and supplies and have them either delivered to the clinic for pick-up or delivered directly to your house.
I forgot to call during clinic hours to make an appointment, can I book appointments online when I have time later?

Yes, you can use our website to book your pet’s appointment at your convenience. Surgeries and day-hospitalizations need to be booked by our clinic staff via email or telephone.

What kinds of animals do you work on?
While we love all 4-legged creatures, we only work on cats and dogs.
Does my pet need to be seen every year by a vet?
Annual examinations can catch early changes to your pet’s health, such as oral health changes and weight concerns. Alberta also has a healthy parasite population so checking in yearly with your vet clinic team will ensure that your pet has the protection they need to be safe. While some vaccines may be given every 3 years, there are some that require yearly boosters to maintain adequate immunity levels. Depending on your travel plans this year, your pet may need different or additional parasite medications and vaccinations to protect them on their travels. All of these are things we address at our yearly wellness consultations to keep your pet in optimum health.
Do you have a cat-only area?

We have a cat-only exam room where they can relax and better enjoy their time with us. We have sound and temperate controlled kennels where hospitalized patients can enjoy a quieter and more fear-free experience.

Your clinic is closed and I’m worried my pet needs to get seen for medical attention asap, what are the 24-hour emergency clinics in Calgary?

We cannot be open all the time and we are so thankful for the emergency clinics in Calgary taking care of our patients 24-7. Here is a list of some emergency clinics you may reach out to:

  1. Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency CARE 403-520-8387
  2. Trinity Hills 24 Hour Pet Hospital 403-233-2888
  3. Calgary North Emergency 403-277-0135
I’m scared of needles or seeing medical things being done to my pet, do I have to be present for these things?
Not at all! If you are uncomfortable with seeing needles or other aspects of hospital life, please let us know and we will ensure a staff member can hold your pet and you can take the space you need to.
Can you clean my pet’s teeth while they are awake?

To properly clean your pet’s teeth and remove bacteria, the space under the gumline (“subgingival”) must be scaled and polished. There is no way to effectively accomplish this while they are awake. This means that anesthesia-free cleanings are more cosmetic in nature, where the teeth look nice and clean, but nothing has been done to treat the inflammation and disease under the gumline.
